Come play in the dirt with the East Side Seed Library at our seed sowing workshop! Learn why we need to stratify seeds, what items around your home can be used to cold stratify, and participate in a step-by-step tutorial focused on native perennials.

All participants will receive one winter sowing kit (milk jug green house, soil, and seeds). This event is a collaboration between Urban Roots, Metro State University Library, and the Dayton’s Bluff branch of the Saint Paul Public Library.
