Spring is in the air and the East Side Seed Library is gearing up for growing season! Join us for an Open House on Saturday, April 18 from 1 – 3 p.m. where you’ll have first pick of our latest free seed offerings as well as a chance to meet fellow gardening enthusiasts. No green thumb? Not a problem! Urban Roots and other local groups will be on hand to share their expertise. Plus we’ll have books on gardening and plant life available for check out courtesy of the Metro State and Saint Paul Public Libraries. Dayton’s Bluff FunLab! will be marking the occasion with a special Earth Day activity for tweens starting at 2:30 p.m.
Want to help us prepare for the Open House? Come to the Community Seed Circle on Wednesday, April 15. Learn more about the seed library, help sort seeds, or bring your own seed donations to share with neighbors!
