New York Times digital access

The Library now provides free access for all students, faculty, and staff to the New York Times website! You can always access it through our Databases A-Z list. However, you can also create your own (free) account there, associate it with the Metro State subscription, and access the paper directly at NYTimes.com.

To set up this access, register with the New York Times. Here are the steps in detail:

  1. Go to https://mtrproxy.mnpals.net/login?url=https://nytimesineducation.com/access-nyt/
  2. Search for Metropolitan State University.
  3. Create your account that will be associate with the Metro State subscription. You need to use your Metro State email address.
  4. You can then log into NYTimes.com directly.

Please contact the Library at library.services@metrostate.edu if you have any problems!
