Materials Delivery

Metro State students, faculty, and staff may request library materials, such as books and articles, be delivered to them.

  • This policy applies to current students, faculty, and staff of Metro State University.
  • Physical materials can only be delivered to addresses within the United States.
  • Whenever possible, materials will be delivered digitally rather than physically.
  • Staff and resident faculty may have materials, including interlibrary loans, delivered to their university mailbox via interoffice mail.
  • The following items are not eligible for mail delivery:
    • Materials owned by other libraries (interlibrary loans).
    • Non-print physical materials such as games and loaner laptops.
    • Oversized books and materials with nonstandard binding.

Materials can be returned in the following ways:

  • Return in-person to the Metro State University Library and Learning Center.
  • Mail via the US Postal Service or ship via a courier service (such as UPS or FedEx) to the following address:

  • Patrons are responsible for any return mail/shipping costs.
  • Return to a library that participates in the Minitex Courier Service.
  • Interoffice mail (faculty and staff only).

      It is the responsibility of all patrons to return all library materials in the condition to which they were received by the specified due date. Items remain in the patron’s account until received by the Metro State Library. Please see the circulation policy for more information on circulation periods, policies, and fines.
