Checkouts and Renewals

During COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, due dates for Metro library materials may be extended automatically to reduce need for visits to the building. (This will not be done with Interlibrary Loan materials.) See the “Loans” area of your library account, or contact for more information

To check out physical materials in the Metro State library during COVID-19 restrictions, please phone the circulation desk at 651-793-1624 while you are in the library building, and staff will bring items to the first floor for you.

To renew books and videos from the Metro State collections, log in to your library account and view your “Loans.” Contact if you have questions.

To renew books borrowed from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan, log in to your library account and view your “Loans.” Note that due dates and renewals are determined by the lending library, and may vary. Contact if you have questions.
